A Florida native, born in St. Petersburg, Michael Alan Berry brings over 20 years of experience to the world of fitness and personal training. With a passion for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals, Michael is the proud owner and operator of Pure Energy Fitness and Flexibility, where he specializes in creating tailored fitness programs that focus on strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. His vision is to build a welcoming fitness community that supports people of all ages, body types, and backgrounds.
Michael’s journey into fitness began in martial arts, where he earned black belts in Toyama-Ryu Batto-Jutsu, Hayashi-Ha Shito-Ryu, and Kubudo. His dedication to martial arts extends beyond personal achievements, as he also serves as an instructor at Jyanguru Dojo, where he imparts his skills and knowledge to students of all levels.
In the early 90s, Michael was introduced to weight training by a bodybuilding couple, whose approach to coaching inspired him to pursue bodybuilding techniques and eventually become a certified personal trainer. This led him to develop a deep understanding of how to empower others on their fitness journeys.
With over 30 years of experience, Michael trains clients from all walks of life, ranging from beginners to seasoned athletes. He specializes in crafting personalized workout regimens and believes that fitness is a deeply personal journey. His goal is to guide, support, and empower clients to become the healthiest version of themselves..

Craig has been empowering people through personal training for over 18 years. His journey began at the age of seven, when he became a member of the Junior Olympic Boxing Team at the Bedford-Stuyvesant Boxing Center. His love for fitness grew as he learned discipline and physical skills in the ring.
Craig’s training career began as a volunteer coach at a local YMCA. Since then, he’s worked with numerous clients ranging from elite athletes to youth to those looking to lose a few pounds. Craig’s approach to training is unique because he integrates methods from multiple disciplines for a tailored approach to each individual. Craig’s motto, “If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you” and his commitment to his clients helps them realize their personal training goals.
